Visiting the Grand Canyon

The picture above, taken by me, shows the sunset at the Grand Canyon, specifically the North Rim. Though it can’t be seen in the picture, this was sometime last year after the pandemic had become widespread. Everywhere around the national park, people were wearing masks and social distancing. 

The Grand Canyon is one of the seven natural wonders of the world located in northwestern Arizona and the North Rim is only a five-hour drive from Las Vegas. In total, there are three major entrances to the park: the West Rim, the North Rim, and the South Rim. Of the three, the closest entrance to Las Vegas is the West Rim, approximately a two-hour drive. It is definitely a must-see and even during the pandemic, offers visitors a fantastic opportunity to view the magnificent outcomes of natural forces.
