The ugly path

Not all of us get what we want,

And most of us try to open the closed door,

As we start to think this haunts,

Our minds begin to become poor,

Everyone has a door,

Doors can be very secure, 

Once we stop and our minds will bore,

Our lives will become pure,

We don’t want to face it,

It’s scary to let go,

But holding on will lead you to a pit,

It’s better to just say no,

Watching them all occur,

It tends to burn your heart,

Soon your tension will blur,

And you will begin a new chart,

You come to it,

You find the better door,  

You are better lit,

It’s better than taking a tour,

We come to think of it,

And do all the math,

So you don’t get stuck in a pit,

And take the ugly path.
